Hi Cory its cool to try Joomla. As a fellow Christian and entrepreneur, I find it inspiring to learn new ways to communicate. Joomla looks pretty interesting and I think we'll be trying this next for our own website.

Anyway look forward to getting to know the program. We first tried out Wordpress, and I'm thinking of sticking with that for our video game blog, but trying out Joomla for the rest of the site.

Here goes nothing =) Cheers, Cid

Hi Mike,

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the comment. You are the first on my new blog! From the looks of your site, it seems you are getting the hang of using Joomla.

Wow, 12 years is a long time away from home! Although, I guess Congo is home now. Are you guys working with the IMB?

Hi Cory,

My name is Mike and I'm just learning Joomla. My wife and I have been Baptist missionaries in Congo for the last 12 years. Recently, I became aware that we needed a web site to keep people informed of what we do. So, I started learning Joomla.

I still have a long way to go, but I would personally like to thank you for your help and your tutorials which have helped me to get this far. The learning curve seems to never end and just when I think I have a handle on it, things seem to get more complicated.

In any case, thank you for your efforts on the web site and thanks for your efforts with your youth group. Keep up the good work.

Sincerely,

Mike Lowery
